Hi,
I currently running my Dreamplug with the Guiplug 2.5 image via VNC.
I have just been given a 15” touch screen with dual usb/serial interfaces . It have the driver CD with the linux TouchKit drivers. The debian drivers look like they are x86. So I’m newbie guessing that they won’t work on ARM.
However, when I plug it into the usb port dmesg returns:
input: eGalax Inc. USB TouchController as /devices/platform/orion-ehci.0/usb1/1-1/1-1.3/1-1.3:1.0/input/input2
Should I be encouraged by this? Is it possible to get this screen working on the Dreamplug with Guiplug?.

Hi James,
Mmmm I've only just noticed that the monitor has no labels/livery at all on it.
The touchscreen is currently attached to a PC running Centos. I ran xdpyinfo. It returned:
Monitor Information:
Vendor: Monitor Vendor, Model: AL1716
I googled the model and got hits for Acer LCD 17"....

Have you tried lsusb ?
Maybe after updating the usb-ID base.

the company for the eGalax ChipSet could be found at http://home.eeti.com.tw/web20/eg/Touch_Drives.html
but I think they didnt build only the touch-controller and not the display itself
