I have a Dreamplug out on site which isn't booting from the SD card (it's booting from internal memory).
I only have remote access, but this has been sufficient for me to SSH into it via the default root password on it's DHCP-obtained IP, and verify that the SD card is mounting and there are no filesystem errors.
Suggestions?
Since it left my office to go to site it's possible that it has been opened to change the battery, although I thought it was tested before it departed. Looking now the clock has reset suggesting that either the battery wasn't changed or it never booted successfully to set the clock after it was changed. Talking to a colleague we're both confident that it was tested working before it left here but when something isn't working you start to question yourself...
This is repeatable - I've rebooted several times and each time it boots to the internal memory not the SD card.
What can I do remotely to investigate this and (ideally!) fix it?
