reinstall the original os
« on: 06 May 2011, 10:55:18 am »

Hi,
i think i managed to break my dreamplug software (the rootfilesystem is corrupt, some files are missing, drivers do not work, etc) But i don't want to install debian because it seems to have a few issues. Where can i find a the images of the preinstalled software?

cheers

Which file do i need? Proably dreamplug_rootfs.tar.bz2. But it seems it has been removed. https://code.google.com/p/dreamplug/updates/list  has a link to it, but its 404. Could you reupload it please?

How about a factory uboot?  I'm having issues with USB storage that may or may not have started when I updated to the newer uboot from the google code site.

Fletch,

If you bought the Dreamplug from NewIT then that is the Factory uboot.

I didn't.  But if that uboot is known to work, then I need to look elsewhere for my problem.  Thanks for the info.
