Connecting Dreamplug to the network
« on: 03 June 2011, 07:10:23 am »

Hi all,

I've powered up my Dreamplug and trying to get the WLAN client working.

Firstly, the WLAN interface seems to be mlan0 instead of wlan0 as stated in the documentation.

Code: [Select]
# /sbin/wpa_supplicant -imlan0 -c /root/my.conf -B
ioctl[SIOCSIWPMKSA]: Invalid argument
ioctl[SIOCSIWPMKSA]: Invalid argument

Can someone please help?

My configuration file looks like this, btw.

Code: [Select]
# more my.conf
network={
        ssid="my_ssid"
        proto=WPA
        key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
        psk="my_password"
}

Did you solve your problem ? I have the same error message.

my.conf does look like the one above. I have generated psk using wpa_passphrase. I do put quote around the ssid and no quote around psk.

I guess we cannot put "the passphrase" directly in psk.

Which log file could help me to see what is going on ?

Thanks.

No, not really. I haven't had the time. I'll look into this again shortly and keep you posted.
