Kernels on Globale Scale Google-Code page...
« on: 06 August 2011, 04:26:50 pm »

Hi,

I have installed Debian as described in the manual using the offered debian image on the globalscale google-code webpage.

I have seen that a newer uImage kernel file has been deposited there (uImage_2.6.33.7), so I have choosen this kernel.

but the problem is, that all the lib files for this kernel aren't available in the debian image.

It's confusing a little bit. Maybe globalscale could rename the files (e.g. "uImage") to a clearly name. As well as describing what the debian image file contains.

Additionally it would great if the files could be sorted into some subdirectories, because it's a little bit confusing.

Thanks,

Markus

I have installed debian following globalscale howto. And then, I have upgraded to debian testing, with a 2.6.39 kernel from http://sheeva.with-linux.com
