Mimo monitors on the SmartTop
« on: 04 December 2011, 10:29:32 pm »

Hi,

Can I plug a Mimo monitor like the 7inches one on the Genesi SmartTop ?
I'm thinking about problems between Arm architecture and Mimo screen driver under Ubuntu/Debian.

I supposed that a powered USB hub is needed.

Thanks,
Regards.

The Mimo monitors aren't supported in the current Smarttop kernel. You could backport the udlfb driver which works on kernels from 2.6.36 onwards.

Here is the link for the current Efika kernel source.
