Hello everyone...

I am fairly new to the Linux world and especially to GuiPlug !!

I have a question: I would like to be able to start my DreamPLug with the monitor plugged in, start a foreground process (can't send it to the background), remove the monitor and come back later to check on my process. Whenever I do that, removing the monitor kills my session AND my process...

Any idea ?

Run your process (that can't be backgrounded ?!?) in a VNC session that you can locally (or remotely) connect to.
NB: I am making the assumption this is a GUI program.

It is a command line network monitoring tool (airodump), constantly updating its interface.

I may have found a way by using the "screen" command...but it needs some testing.
