Thanks for that, I had pepedog help from the solidrun site, he helped alot, I got it running finding it was the monitor that was the problem NOT cubox, ok the uboot was corrupt by the looks, but I found that if I did not plug the monitor in till after boot it worked perfect, ok slow and not high on res but it plays like a dream as a media server, for the mo I am using a philips hd media player as the router (for want of a better term) to get the stream from the cubox to the old tv via av leads. Its serving until I can find a good hd tv, thatnks again.
