home network question
« on: 15 June 2013, 03:08:52 pm »

home server setup
everything working via wifi and LAN
one wifi router has openwrt.

galaxy note n8000
andsmb
loadroid
jump remote desktop free

cubox   ubuntu 13.4 xubuntu (as server, worked through remote desktop to n8000,as no hd monitor) usb bluetooth keyboard.
various micro cards as storage.

waiting for x2 raspberrypi to arrive
one rasp pi will have xbmc on with external powered usb drive
no2 will be for experimenting on.

my question is,
is there anyway to start a download from lets say the n8000 tab and to make all downloads go directly to the cubox rather than download it andd then copy it to the cubox for storage and viewing.

i have searched high and low on the tab n8000 for the direct full path to the ip of cubox, i know its in -/ folder  on the tab but it must be hidden

make all downloads go directly to the cubox
Use remote desktop on the tab n8000 to execute the download command on the cubox.
