Hi,

I think I've broken my Dreamplug . I dropped it on the side of the PSU, but the PSU seems to be working. That is I still get a green light for the power led. And ethernet ports still give a green light. But the red light near the SATA port is gone. I cannot get into uboot anymore.

I was hoping only my PSU is broken and I have replaced it with 5V 1000mA adapter, while the Dreamplug PSU is 3000mA.
My question is: is this going to work with 1000mA (assuming the plug is not broken of course)?

Dreamplug PSU is 3000mA

The dreamplug has two USB ports at 500mA each, assuming theses are not in use...
Requirement:  3000mA - 1000mA = 2000mA

Your power supply 1000mA - 2000mA requirement = -1000mA

So your proposed power supply is 1A short, what does your gut tell you ?
