« on: 24 September 2014, 07:49:26 am »

I have followed the posts on the site, downloading the newIT image from the site and burning it on a SD card, setting the u-boot setting, still can not boot

Upgraded u-boot about 5 times, used many env setting, yet I can not boot

used
NewIT-Dreamplug-Debian-Squeeze-4Gb-30Aug11.img
from this forum
https://newit.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,2491.0.html

in osx 10.9
Code: [Select]
sudo dd if=NewIT-Dreamplug-Debian-Squeeze-4Gb-30Aug11.img of=/dev/disk4
got this SD
Code: [Select]
/dev/disk4

Why did you re-flash u-boot ?
Have you read this forum's posts about 'setenv mainlineLinux yes;' and 'setenv arcNumber 2659' ?

Have you mounted the SD card under OS-X (or Windows) and checked it ?

Have you read this forum's Dreamplug configuration thread ?
If so:
Why are you mixing the SD image from one source (New IT) with install instructions from a different source (which don't have instructions for using the NewIT images) ?
Which Dreamplug hardware version do you have ?

That will do for a start.
