Ubuntu ain't booting
« on: 15 December 2010, 11:36:45 am »

Dear newIT Team,

I purchased one of your openRD-Clients a few months ago and am not able to get a working Ubuntu system running. When the openrd boots it uncompresses the kernel and hangs up - no output - no change. Is there a way out of this never ending catastrophe or am I stuck for ever? All I want is a running Ubuntu system that I can install Java on.

Please help me!!

Thanks in advance and greetings from Germany, Johannes Start

As I understand it, the OpenRD Client as supplied has Fedora on it. If you are trying to install Ubuntu, and it's not working for you, you really must give some indication of what procedure you are using, and what you expect to happen, and what it is that happens instead. Right now it looks to me as though you are only providing the final piece of information.
