DreamPlug?
« on: 23 January 2011, 09:41:10 pm »

I've just been over at the Globalscale website http://www.globalscaletechnologies.com/news.aspx

On hovering over the "products" menu item I noticed that under the Guruplug link was "DreamPlug -- Coming Soon" although there is no link to any further information. A quick web search for DreamPlug drew a blank but you never know, perhaps this may at some point in the future materialise as a next generation plug computer? I hope so.

If so, I'd be pretty interested -- particularly if NewIT were to stock it.  (I had a Guruplug Plus on pre-order before I wimped out after the hardware issues became apparent.).

Has anyone heard anything about any new plugs which might be available in 2011?

Looks good !!! , if it don`t over heat and the Ethernet ports are 1Gb , it`s a step up to what the guruplug should have been.

Interesting! Thanks for the info.

(I'll admit to being slightly disappointed that this isn't a Plug Computer 3.0 platform though.  Maybe I will just have to take another look at the Sheeva or Guruplug, these do have the advantage of being available now rather than having a mythical soon-maybe-never status).
